Workplace Mental Health Toolkit

Find resources to support the mental health and well-being of all workers.

Some disabilities cannot be seen just by looking at someone. Mental health conditions, for instance, are not always noticeable from the outside.

Banner: 1 in 5 American adults will experience a diagnosable mental health condition in any given year. banner: 24.9% people identifying as being two or more races that report any mental illness within the past year (more than any other race/ethnic group). banner: 1 in 5 American adults with mental illness also had a co-occurring substance use disorder (SUD).

Recent challenges, including the COVID-19 pandemic, coupled with an increased understanding of the prevalence of mental health conditions, are prompting many employers to consider strategies they can use to support employee well-being. EARN’s Workplace Mental Health Toolkit provides employers with the knowledge, skills, and resources necessary to create a supportive work atmosphere for those living with mental health conditions. Through this toolkit, organizations can learn how to create a mental health-friendly workplace and help their employees access resources that will lead to improved well-being.
